Selena Museum

The Selena Museum honors the legendary singer and songwriter, Selena Quintanilla-Perez. She was the “Queen of Tejano” and an international superstar. Her tragic death in 1995 left a lasting legacy, and the museum honors her memory. This museum is located on the same block as her performance studio and features items from Selena’s personal collection. It’s also home to her performance wardrobe and memorabilia. It is a touching tribute to such a remarkable artist who passed too soon! 

A visit to the Selena Museum is a must-do for anyone who loves the singer. The museum also contains a gift shop where you can purchase posters, t-shirts, and accessories. It’s an absolutely beautiful museum. 

Padre Island National Seashore

Padre Island is a barrier island spanning over 70 miles off the southern coast of Texas. It has natural wetlands and habitats for endangered and rare species. There are approximately 380 species of birds and other wildlife in Padre Island. In addition, Padre Island is home to one of six hypersaline lagoons in the world. Most notably, it is home to 77% of North America’s wintering redhead ducks.
